Road Crash Barriers

A long time ago I remember seeing somewhere how to model the metal road crash barriers out of styrene. I have tried many different searches to find the article, but to no avail. Does anyone know of the article? I believe it could be done by using 2 pieces of styrene rod glued together. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Not sure about an article, but I used corrugated styrene.  One sheet will go a long long way.

Another option is 3D printing.  I could make a few sets of these with the 3 groove ends if anyone is interested.

Someone (Gold Medal Models maybe?) makes them in stainless steel as photoetch.  Friend installed some on his layout.
But  that was years ago. Nowadays 3D pritning will likely yield good results (if somoene does print them in 3D).

Are those printed on the photon or the filament printer?

I have the GMM parts, and they look nice.  But the only ones I have installed, about two inches, was made from Plastruct "corrugated sheet", which looks like it's vacuum-formed.  It works for corrugated roofing, but the piece I have is oversized for N scale.  A strip works very well for guardrail, though, and they do (did?) make different spacings.

I think I will try the styrene rods trick with a little bit of filler between the rods.

Sorry I'm a little late to the post.
I've had some success in using Evergreen or Plastruct 1/16 channel for the rail and 1/16 I beam or 1/16 H column for the posts. Round tooth picks, sanded down have worked for wooden posts The channel can be bent, with care, for even sharp turns.
I'll have to contact Mark W. to see about his, which appear to be 3D printed.

Plain ol' Anycubic Gray.

In my limited experience I found FUD/FXD fairly brittle.
