Unfortunately for Pat, and fortunately for me, these are all too modern for my 1974 layout.  They are nice looking trucks, though.

Great news, but I'm still waiting for a full restock of the truck parts and wheels. Or did I miss them?  :|

Peter,

You did not miss them.  I also have a list of truck parts (including wheels) that I am hoping will be available sometime this year.

So I can't find a pre-order on the Trainworx website and none of my regular pushers has these up yet . . . .

I would imagine @fifer will have them posted soon.  He just put up the Kenworth cab pre-order page.  I'll probably go for 15-20 of these trailers, and maybe 1 or 2 cabs.  (I hardly have any roads on my layout, fortunately.)  Gonna need more spine sets if this keeps up though!

Just drop TrainWorx an email with what you need and Pat will take care of you.

I am glad that Trainworx hasn't been shut down.  :)

Two years ago, I pre-ordered CB&Q and NYC flexivan flatcars as well as NYC/US Mail 40' trailers.

I hope they will materialize some day...

If only I cashed out my 401k several years back and bought Duel trucks from him! I would have 8 times the money instead of .7!

I think we all wish that we did  that, but even then, only a dozen sets was ever produced right?     I know, it was 200 sets.
If your 401k is at 0.7 then you are doing great!  :D  I refuse to even look at mine.  :scared:

I finally got enough courage to look at mine two days ago.  I was extremely pleasantly surprised to see both were at 0.9.  Now should I move them all to bonds instead of stocks?  :)

These trucks are cool but I wish they would make some train cars again, like in their name! I love their cars. Maybe I have just missed them.

So I made a wish list of this announcement. I came up with 4 tractors and 12 trailers with a total MSRP of $459.20. With the discount at my LHS and taxes added my final cost should be about $397.67. This will fill out the spine cars I have on order from Atlas, and leave me a few trucks to populate the highways on the layout. It seems like a lot to spend on vehicles, but I really like the Trainworx trucks, and quite honestly, spine cars look silly running half empty and is unprototypical. Of course, with the next release, I'll probably order some more and get more spine cars. First world problems.....
