@Dave V once shared a maxim that applies here: Perfect is the enemy of good.
Translation: Mediocrity is acceptable. Based on viewing your work I would never have guessed you to be of that ilk.
On my scale between mediocrity and perfection, "good" is just under perfect, and way higher than mediocrity, which is on the bottom of the scale.
Sweet!I love the barmaid (especially from the angle the photo was taken)! Where did you find her!So, is the smoke generator still planned? The candles would really cool in a smoky surroundings. But it would be messy.
Bar maid is actually a beer garden server from Noch; I had to amputate one of her legs to get her to fit behind the bar. Not sure about a smoke generator, but I would like some option to be able to "smoke the place up" a bit on occasion. I have a feeling the stage spotlights shining through the ceiling fan will look even better than the candles with some smoke.
I would think a slight tint to the windows would accomplish the smoke filled bar look you’re after.
As for a smoky feeling, how about a hazy brown film of nicotine on the windows?
Perfect is the enemy of good.
Personal size (cool) humidifier for the "smoke". No heat, no residual film, no smell.
