I found that Bowser stocks their 100t underslung trucks as parts for $1 each without wheels. Add wheels from FVM or others and you can convert a car for about $4.50 which is a bit better than the street price of the BLMA trucks.

At the moment they are out of stock. Again.  Not sure when the last one went (Looking a you @ednadolski  :D )

I wonder if Atlas' warehouse is dry now?

Daniel:  I did that decades ago with MDC/Roundhouse roller bearing trucks.  Walthers was selling them as kits, just sideframes and (bad) wheels, for a fraction of what a MT truck cost.  Since I didn't need the truck-mounted couplers, and Precision Masters wheels worked very well for me, I bought a hundred pair of the kits, a few bags of truck pins, and the PM wheels, all for less than good assembled trucks would cost.  They ended up under all of my 100-ton cars, until true 100-ton trucks became available, because they were visibly larger than the MT RB trucks available then.

How do they compare to the Atlas/BLMA trucks? And what axle length work in the Bowser trucks?

Looks like you can also get their trucks with metal wheels, but they cost almost $8 for a pair

They are excellent. The wheels use .553" axles.

Thanks for the tip - it sounds like a good option for the TLT newsprint cars that need 100T trucks with 33" wheelsets vs. buying the BLMA trucks just to swap out the 36" wheelsets

I mistakenly ordered some BLMA/Atlas 100 ton trucks recently. I'd be happy to let them go for $5 a pair plus $3 shipping. I think I have somewhere around 20 pairs. Send me a PM.

I was able to order the correct kind I needed instead. Just glad to possibly help someone out.
