Looking for N Scale chickens

Yes, you read that right.
I picked up a "chickens" sound module from NGineering, and then realized I don't have any chickens in my farm scene, nor do I have any chickens in my stash of figures.  Then I went looking through Woodland Scenice, Preiser, Noch, Faller, and so on on-line and it seems nobody has N Scale chickens!

Any suggestions?
(I already saw some N Scale metal ones by Langley, which I don't think look very good, and a Shapeways set that are unpainted - while I don't mind painting them if I have to, these castings looked too blocky and coarse to me).

Our own master 3D designer and printer @Mark W has done some N scale fowl.  Maybe he has something that would suit your need?

I saw someone once take N scale dogs and cut them in half. He trimmed the two pieces to shape and viola, N scale chickens. The head and tail can be made to look like a chicken's head with a little work. Two for one deal. Don't tell PETA.

I was going to post something like that.  I bought some "pigeons" that actually scale out to be more the size of chickens.  Since they are nearly invisible to begin, with a little paint on beaks and feathers would probably make them pass as chickens in N scale.  (At least until Bob comes by with his macro lens.)  Anyway, I was going to post who made those 3D pigeon prints, but I can't find their little baggy, right now.  I hope they didn't fly the coop.

(Wendy's introduced breakfast here this week. After we sat down with our order (maple bacon chicken "croissant" sandwiches), Robyn commented that she would have rather had an egg something-or-other. I responded, "You have one." It took her maybe five seconds.    )

I've also been browsing the "maker" sites like cults3d.com, especially for complex stuff evidently sourced from 3D scanning. If you manage to get past the thousands of gaming/fantasy figures (frustrating!), there is useful artwork to be had. Some sites have contributions from MRRs, a lot is available at no cost, and most are STL files that you simply drop into your favorite slicer and print. It's a brave new world out there.

A local club has a similar scene on an N-Trak module, chicken sounds and all. I didn't note the quality of the chicken figures, so can't help there. But here's the challenge - they animated two or three of the chickens so it looks like they're pecking at the ground, as chickens do. Amusement/humor aside, it's actually pretty effective.

There are some chickens on Amazon by Langley Models (10). Also there is a guy on Shapeways that has some as well (20):

At some point I'm going to be needing chickens as well, so if Rodsup makes them I would rather give my money to someone on the board. We need pictures...
