Nothing is going to top California Zephyr sales, no matter what happens to the market, eh?
According to some local hobby shops at the time, hobby sales held steady or increased around 2008 as people moved to hobbies instead of more expensive vacations, extravagant things, etc.
SP Morning Daylight is a much prettier train (especially with a GS-4 pulling it).
I'm just basing on number of releases. Far more CZ releases than Daylights. Far more sold therefore. You are correct that Daylight is prettier.
I just wish I could find a original pair of the PRR E8s 5711 and 5809 for not an arm and a leg.
Important question: Is the Kato Broadway to blame for Covid-19?
The Railwire is not your personal army.
Kato did a skirted E5. Something similar could be done for the TA. Like I said, not optimal, but acceptable.(Kato E5 image removed)
If you are suggesting separate portions of the side skirts rotating with the trucks as "acceptable", a lot of people would disagree with you on that. Some would consider that a throwback to the earliest days of N-scale (remember the first Kato PA with the separate pilot?).
