Replacing a cracked gear on a Walthers 130' turntable

I had to revisit this:
https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=39946.0
to replace another cracked gear and it gave me a chance to make some measurements
that Max Magliaro had asked for in his post on replacement gears.
All the gear shafts measure 1.98 mm - here are pictures of some replacement gears available on EBAY
some which have the correct bore. The assortment had one 10t and one 14t gear useful for replacement
on the turntable. The ones listed as 10t( if they are 10t's picture shows 12t's) would work to replace the gear most likeliy to crack -several are used
compared to only one of the 14t gear

Good info, but what you search for on eBay to find these gears?  Do you have any examples of your searches (or which eBay section you see these in)?

Mostlly in Business and Industrial..... gears and gear racks.
Now I'll ask you for a favor - I just switched to Windows 10 and when it boots up it at times shows some beatiful  scenery
shots from Poland. How about when you see one from your former area take a screenshot, print it , sign it and mail to me.

So you don't have any specific examples of what you used for a search pattern to find these gears? You just randomly started hunting for them?

Yes, the Windows 10 screen savers do show some nice pictures, but I have not seen any from Poland on my work computer (the only one I use with Windows 10).  I grew up in a large city in Poland, so no pretty scenery - just some pretty architecture (old and new).  Here is the old city hall building.

Here is a source for both the 10 teeth and 14 teeth gears used on the Walthers N-scale truntable.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/10PCS-8-20-Teeth-1-95mm-Aperture-0-5-Modulus-Motor-Shaft-Plastic-Reduction-Gear/322326699948?hash=item4b0c2b1fac:m:mIXM8aUaDFwsvJnb7sCUFoA

Notice the search track ie Business and Industrial ..... to gears and gear racks, gear racks.
one order should be enough to last a lifetime, especiallly the 14 tooth gear.

Yup.  :)
I visited my family just about a year ago, and I manage to also attend the "Foamer's weekend". See https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?topic=44510.msg573904#msg573904
For few more photos from the trip see https://www.therailwire.net/forum/index.php?action=gallery;su=user;cat=703;u=2700

Here is my gear source.  This link is exactly to a mod 0.5 10 tooth gear with a 2.0mm bore.  (They do not make a 1.95mm bore.  But that is .002" difference.  It won't matter.
https://shop.kkpmo.com/product_info.php?info=p701_gearwheel-pinion-m0-5---10teeth.html

The other thing you can specify is the gear THICKNESS.  How thick are the original gears?  Measure with a caliper.  Then
you can get that exact item.

And of course, you can order a 14 tooth from the same place.  You can also choose black acetal or brass instead of white acetal.
