I thought Pat had preproduction samples of modern flats a couple years ago. I can’t find pics now. Maybe I’m thinking of the NScaleAddict version.

Pat has individual trailer axles tooled that could be used for a spread axle flatbed, but I have not seen any pre-production samples of a trailer longer than the 40-ft flatbed that has already been released. 

If you scroll most of the way to the bottom of this page, you can see a photo of a tri-axle reefer that was on display at the Pittsburgh convention in 2017 that utilized the individual axles.  http://nscalevehicles.org/news.php

I have been pre-ordering from N Scale Supply. They’ve delivered on every order I have made (even the late ones).

My order was placed late, I got 4 out of 5 tractors I ordered.  Just didn't have enough to cover the white high roof.

I got a very late reservation in with them for some of this latest offering of trailers and cabs and got what I reserved even though the product had hit shelves already at N Scale Supply.

Dunno if Lombard Hobby does reservations, but they had some stock of the 53 foot trailers and cabs left the other day, though they may be gone by now. Ought to mean they will have a large number of the dump trucks.

White raised roof almost gone as of 1-12 8:40p, with 13 left. Plenty of white mid roof left. This are like the perfect modern truck they have release since they are like everywhere in the real world.

The Extra lease trailers are almost perfect since they are un-number so the will look great next to the Walthers UPS warehouse.

As of last night, both the red and the white raised roof models are sold out at Lombard's and MB Klein.

Looks like the dark blue model might be the next color to sell out.

Sales for the mid-roof versions do not appear to be as robust.

I was at Hiawatha Hobby in Pewaukee, Wi this afternoon and they had a bunch in, even the raised roofs. not on their website, but they do ship. It is a family run business, call  them if you want these, i spoke with Glen today Got a red and a white raised. After the explanation  of what the mid roof are used for, might have to get a couple of those too

Just got mine. Lookin' good! I got this one cab plus a pair of the XTRA 53' dry van trailers w/skirting and a pair of the XTRA reefer trailers.



I did notice though that Trainworx packaged these releases in jewel cases rather than the cardboard blister pack. Actually I prefer those as the jewelboxes take up so much space for me, and for something that's not a locomotive or even rolling stock, it's a bit much.

For what it's worth, N scale supply has raised roof models showing back in stock, if anyone is still on the lookout for more.

I read some trucker forums last night and learned the mid roof cabs are for hauling flatbeds and bulk trailers - while the "condos" or raised roof cabs are for dry vans...

Of course there is no rule here - just guidelines....

Mid-roof models are also used for hauling tank trailers.
