I spy A&R No. 205 ("John Blue") in that picture.   :)

Indeed!

Did you get a lot of or any interest?  I ask only because people come for the steamship.  It would be good if you did get a lot of interest.

A fair bit.

I made a little progress on my 8905 project.

And of course, even AFTER creating a template (not seen) somehow I STILL f'ed up one of the grab iron holes. I just elongated it to get the thing square (when I install it) and will fix it with ACC. I hope.

I'm still trying to decide if adding the series of four missing louvers right under the handrail will be worth it.

And then I think I should've just started with an Undec BLI SW-7 in the first place... lol.

How fancy!  I just put the TP tube on a bottle of paint to hold it up while the paint dries.  :)

Dollar store foam paint brush stuck in a piece of foam.

Works.... well enough. A turntable would be better.

I'll bet it's the proposal drawings that were discovered awhile back of painting a Reading T1 for some form of steam special.

If that is the case, I may have to grab a copy, as I'm curious to see those photos.. (Or I could wait for, BLI, Lionel or MTH could produce it in model form on the next run..)

If it's a discussion on the AHM/Tyco HO models... I know about those

Back in the late 80's and early 90 Conrail was acquiring passenger cars for heritage trips. Was the steam engine the ultimate goal?

I saved those pictures to my phone when Mike posted them on Facebook.
Maybe the CRHS can lobby the R&N to paint their T1 that way for a season when they're done restoring it.
