JTC - New 40' containers also announced at Trainfest

JTC had a busy weekend at Trainfest, my FB feed showed announcements for some more, older era, 40' containers in two varieties.

I've just saved these from there, maybe @JaxTerminal can update this thread with the official pages when he recovers for the show.

I hope @jagged ben has his wallet securely restrained  :D

Ok, I'm in for all four smoothsides.  8)

On the rib side panels - I could use some dates for the following schemes:
- Citi
- Xtra

Pretty sure I have 70s pics of the TFL, SSI, and ITEL schemes somewhere.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh.     :o   I'm gonna get totally hammered.

JTC is going head-to-head with Athearn on many of these, too, which just makes it harder to decide what to do.
When are these supposed to arrive?

Love the Japan Lines and OOCL smooth sides. More 60s /70s stuff, please.

These are nice to see, in particular the older schemes.  Two prominent schemes which have been missing for a long time are the early Genstar (40' corrugated container with white only logogram) and the Triton 40' corrugated red containers.  I have photos if needed.

I am pleased to see the description and dates for each scheme; this is a great resource and shopping guide for prototype modellers.  The container leasing business is a minefield of companies coming and going for anyone engaged in product research!

Keep up the good work JTC,

Where are you seeing this info? (I see company histories)

The OOCL scheme may be beyond the 1970s - here's what they looked like in 1976:

I think the NOL scheme is late 70s - maybe 1979.

The K line scheme is good back to 1969.

Need to check on that specific Mitsui scheme and that specific NYK scheme.

The Japan Lines, Seatrain, and United States Lines are all solid early 70s.

Hopefully, JTC has more specific info.
