Exactly!

Basically, the RailWire is where I go to get my balls busted.

But it DOES make me a better modeler.

We should start a new thread of projects made possible due to TRW ball busting

That’s why he fought the suggestions... he was going for the ceiling layout.

Video of the temporary loop test running.

Funny TRW related story about the song in the background.

It's Fantastic Man by William Onyeabor, which I learned about from @chicken45 sent it to me. He sent it my way because I referred to @DKS as the David Byrne of model railroading. I got hooked on the song and it's now been in my "Songs I Like" playlist which happened to be playing in the background. I didn't even realize it until I had posted the video.

You should spring for a Kato V1 Mainline Passing Siding Set: https://www.modeltrainstuff.com/kato-n-20860-1-mainline-passing-siding-set-variation-1/
Then your next video can be of a meet between empty and loaded coal trains.

Haha. I have a bunch of Unitrack turnouts "in stock" for TTRAK projects. I thought about doing that but it's unnecessary for testing the engine I needed to.  I don't want to get TOO side tracked here considering I'm planning on laying foam on Thursday.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

I've done a quick writeup of the layout, if anyone's interested in some more details.

I know you're all SW1500 and GP15-1 in your mind's eye with this, but those scenes just scream for RS-2s and -3s. FWIW.  :ashat:
