Kinda disappointing that they don't have window glass.

EDit: Nevermind. Should say "kinda disappointing the factory didn't send the glass with the pre-production samples"!

Yeah. But I thought they were doing some upgrades along the way.

I'm not stressing about it, but now it's a piece of scenery that's going to need some work before employment.

Wait, but the "Features" text on the link says "Window Glazing".

If not its essentially a flat roof, so cut a "plus sign" out of clear acetate scrap where the center rectangle is the width and length of the inside of the roof and score fold lines then bend the tabs down for the glass surfaces:

              _________
          __|              |__
         |                       |
         |                       |
         |__                __|
             |________|

Just a thought.

It’s possible the production run models will have window glass, even though the pre-production pilot models used for advertising do not.

Just ordered the CR version from Hogtrainz.com.  They also had the F-100s in stock, and the PC version ended up in my shopping cart too.

The plows do come with glazing. Bryan is right, the pre production samples were sent to us minus glazing.

Ahh, awesome. Thanks for the clarification!

Images are powerful things.

I guess now my scenic plow will find its way right into the layout then!

I wish Atlas still brought in parts.  I have a couple Walthers' plows that could use some windows.  :|

Speaking of these, this post reminded me, go look at MBK's "just in" list. I grabbed a plow.

Those are all flat windows. Why not just install some thin clear styrene?  Either like John described earlier, or just glue in some flat pieces.  Plus the thin styrene will look more realistic *clearer and with less distortion) than the thicker injection-molded windows.
