MSRP is 25 pounds of Kansas City strip steaks.  Just sayin'....  Might have to wait for the super sale on factory reconditioned units on this one.

Once in a Kansas City steak house, I asked what the difference was between ordering a Kansas City strip steak and a NY strip steak.

The waitress responded that in that steak house, a Kansas City strip was THIS BIG, while a NY strip was this big.  Same price. (OK, she gestured rather than using font size, but you get the idea).

I have a mind like a steel trap...a VERY rusty, old steel trap.

Well $80 of that is for the sound...
But MSRP is in line with the rest of the sound units out there..
Looks like we could have some competition in the SW1500 market soon..

@Atlas Paul  and @Shipsure you need to team up and get something going... :D.

Yes, and from BLI typically a sound decoder the cognoscenti are compelled to replace. IOW, $80 for nothing.

Good looking model, but for that money plus a latté I could buy a Photon.  ;)

(I've got more switchers than I know what do to with anyway.   )

I could live with a paragon 3 decoder in one off locos that rarely mu with another loco. I'm thinking am undecorated one could be in my future for a refinery switcher.

It's the same phase NW2 that everyone else has done, right?

I really want to buy a couple Atlas S2’s in Santa Fe zebra stripe schemes but it will be a couple of years before they would be available, if done at all.  So this may work out to BL’s favor.

UP " Road of the Streamliners  " will always bend my arm . The question now is 1 of each or go for broke ?

Edit 8-29-19 trigger pulled

Well I went for broke and ordered both NW-2's and both SW7's . Would rather have S2's and S4's in Road of the Streamliners but Atlas and Bachmann opted for other slogans .
