I like the Mudville depot, is it based on a prototype?

No, it's not but does use a lot of Victorian design factures.

Any chance the Mudville Station will be done in Z? It is so perfect for what I need!

Can do the building not sure on the fretwork on the roof. Almost impossible in N as it is

think I scrap one for every good one and send two sets with each kit as very fragile

but will try here soon. Or come up with something else

Should it be etched brass? I realise it’s not laser cut then but it would be far sturdier and the detail could be finer.

Yes it would be better in brass but have you priced photo etched brass?
Hard to get done state side anymore due to the EPA do know some in England
but the lead time and cost for how any would sell is the hard part.
Wish I could fine a place to do it locally but have not been able to yet

Yes several TRW members use (and recommend) PPD, Ltd. (in Scotland?) for photoetching.  Prices seem to be reasonable (especially if you tile your artwork into a larger sheet).
