If we're fourth tier, I'd HATE to see what NYC is! ;)

Don't be silly, PRR is like six or seven. :D :D

Here's a hint: the merged road was named Penn Central, not Yorkylvania.

Did I miss it, or has no one mentioned that this set seems to be the "other" Broadway consist, with different names on the cars than the first release.

Rich K.

You didn't miss it! No one has mentioned different names on this coming release....
Cheers,
Scott

New names and numbers per the Kato newsletters.

Whoa, they're charging $15/lighting kit installed. Did the pricing go up on LEDS that much, or are they seriously trying to discourage people from buying pre-lit?

Their preorders for the pantographs and BM70M seem steep too. $20 and $40 respectively seems a bit high to me.

As much as I would like another BM70M, I have a hard time signing up for the BM70M at $40, even if that is the MSRP.  On the other hand, I probably should, because I doubt these will make it to the street at a lower price given the pent up demand that I believe exists.

I'm going to plunk down my ducats for the 4-car add-on and one extra BM70M car. I have the original run 10-car set and ATSF 4-4-2 sleeper, but the original 4-car add-on goes for redonkulous prices on The Auction Site That Shall Not Be Named.

Buy two more than you need, wait a month after they're sold out, put them on eBay and recoup the price you paid for the ones you kept. Easily recoup.

The only way they will make it to the street is if someone buys them and then flips them to Ebay.  I don't think this is a retail offer. It's only pre-order through the parts store.  If it's not ordered by someone, they aren't making it.  That's my understanding at least.

On this forum there is no reason to pussyfoot around the names of aucion sites.  It is not your father's forum. SO you can shout:

eBay, eBay, EBAY!!!

I always thought it was silly that the some other forums (like the Atlas forum) didn't allow mentioning that evil website's name.  :RUEffinKiddingMe:  But hey, if it stokes your stoker, than by all means, be ominous and don't mind me.  :)
