Athearn Ford C Semi-tractors Have Arrived

Some hobby shops are now listing the Athearn Ford C semi-tractors as available.

This release was announced in October 2017, and of course was affected by the closing of the AffaTech factory.  This release includes paint schemes not included in earlier releases, such as several "official" Ford colors unique to the 1960s and 1970s.

Sorry, but I have not heard anything.  The Model R semi-tractor was the last N scale Mack that Athearn released, and that was in the summer of 2013!

I am hoping that Athearn will start "cycling" their tooling for the Mack trucks back into production like they appear to be doing for the Ford C Series trucks.  I guess we will just have to wait and see.
