Looks like the General Motors style designers were not part of the sale

I like them. They have clean lines and look good. As a conductor who's ridden a few, I really like them. They're quiet, comfortable, smooth riding, and the notched hood really helps forward visibility. And when they first started showing up, they smelled like a new car!
I'm sure that functionality-wise they are awesome, but they are still very utilitarian-looking (read: plain and ugly).
As was the GP7, SD40-2, etc...
Other than a taller mid section ...
This are SD70ACe-T4,Looks like they were, GM knows how to make ugly vehicles. Just look at the current lineup, only Toyota makes an uglier car.
I think they look like an unholy mating between a GE and a toaster.
