I've generally been a fan of EMD's styling lately, thinking it's handsome in its own way, but I think these things are just FUGLY.

I think they look like an unholy mating between a GE and a toaster.



I don't like the excess height hood and the GE style cabs just look wrong.

I know it doesn't matter, but damn, they fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

I agree that isn't an eye-pleasing design, but would say that those two paint schemes aren't really helping.  The Demo scheme is at least a little better IMO.

Other than a taller mid section they don't look much different than any other recent EMD.

They look like an sd90mac with a filled in mid section. I wonder if they classified as an sd70 since the 90 was no good for those who purchased it. This has a 4 cycle 1010 engine to achieve the tier 4 cert.

Looks like they were, GM knows how to make ugly vehicles. Just look at the current lineup, only Toyota makes an uglier car.
