Looks like that might be an isolated issue - not seeing it here on my end. Is it still giving you that message or is it working now?

Is there any information on the expected delivery timelines?  It would help me plan and budget.

Here's my problem - there's so much cool stuff that Rapido has announced recently that I would like!   Horizon cars, the Canadian, the F40s and even an LRC.   At about $70(US)/car it's pretty expensive stuff - I'm not complaining that this is unreasonable (it's very reasonable, based on what I've seen from previous Rapido products) - but I certainly can't afford it all at once.

I'd like to be able to estimate when I should expect to spend what for me is a substantial part of my annual hobby budget.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

I’m down for buying a set. I used to watch the 1990s PBS documentary “Last Train Across Canada” all the time as a kid, so I have very found memories of the pre-flag blue and yellow Canadian flashing across my TV screen while Gordon Lightfoot played in the background.

To quote Jason, if we end up selling 5000 of them, there is a strong possibility!

I'm not sure if that's good or bad news but cool beans...

If I have some money left over after the Canadian (and Kato's 400) I'll have to pick up a few original scheme cars.

Well since I did take the Canadian Toronto-Vancouver in 1963, (returning on the Dominion,) I am definitely in for a set. Mind you I was 12 years old at the time, and don't remember much. All that said, the layout era I'm developing is 1950/60's CP freight block and script, but I'm sure I can fit in the CP Canadian.

This is cut from the email I got from Rapido today:

Quote from: Rapido
You probably know us well enough to recognize these delivery dates as "hopelessly optimistic."

Order Deadlines:

    October 7: N Scale LRC, N Scale F40PH-2D
October 7: N Scale Rebuilt F40PH-2D, HO Scale RDC
    January 13: N Scale Canadian
    March 17: N Scale FP9A

Approximate Delivery Dates:

    March 2020: N Scale LRC
    May 2020: N Scale F40PH-2D
    June 2020: N Scale Rebuilt F40PH-2D
    July 2020: HO Scale RDC
    August 2020: N Scale FP9A
    September 2020: N Scale Canadian

So you have from now until next summer or fall to save your pennies for all of these models. No problem! 😄

Most of my model railroad career has been dedicated building a decent model of The Canadian, and a layout to run it on, so this is big news to me. I'll probably be in for two sets, not to mention at least a pair of the FP9's. It'll be hard on the wallet well these come out but I've got at least a year. It's a lot of beer cans...

Years ago Mike McGratton dropped a broad hint The Canadian was a possibility, and I don't want to sound like my faith in him has dismissed over time, but its been a bit of a wait. On the other hand waiting for The Canadian has taught me a lot about patience. (Insert joke about how late the real Canadian usually is).

Anybody in the market for a bunch a cast resin Budd cars, from modified Con Cor shells?

And will Rapido follow what in remember to be their HO strategy and bring along the F9B in a couple of years?

Wonderful releases . . . if you model CP or VIA.  Nothing for BCR so my wallet is safe.

Would have loved to see the Phase II RDCs in N Scale - never been done.

Oh. I thought they were going to release a "Toronto Raptors 2019 NBA Champions" collector's boxcar.

Huh?  I just clicked on the link in the post and it came up just fine in my version of Chrome. My version is "Version 75.0.3770.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)".

Seems odd to say this about a model railroad manufacturer of N scale locomotives and rolling stock, but to do that would mean they would have to invest $40.000 to tool a boxcar (seems weird, but I don't think they've ever made an N scale boxcar).  Maybe a Raptor's meat reefer?

Super cool on the Canadian. 8)

Will parts be available for the FP9s? The winterization "housing" on the CN units look pretty close to the Wabash (GMD) F7s and I need one for an N&W unit.  :D

@rapidotrains, @rapidomike, Quick question: will the Park cars have interchangeable drumheads, so we can use them on the Dominion too? I didn't see any mention of this, so was just wondering... :)
Because why not...
