Krylon. Same as the base rock color paints.
I'm wondering if brush-painting the shiny rock with a water-based acrylic flat would give you the desired level of flatness?
Off topic: KF Industries, Inc, makers of power packs, back in the day, was located at 230 West Dauphin Street in Philadelphia.
I'm happy to see photos of DKS holding things again!
So it wasn't one of these props?https://www.dappercadaver.com/collections/fake-arms/male+lifelike
It's a day after the close of the challenge, and the rocks are now super-ultra-shiny--if I'd intended for them to look so freakishly wet at the outset, I'd never expect to be so successful. Now I'm going to re-paint all of the rockwork so it doesn't look seriously effing dripping wet. I mean... it's almost frightening how wet they look right now...
Sounds like the chemical reaction between the rubber rock and the clear coat continues? Is the surface dry to the touch, or is it sticky?
It's a bit sticky, so it would seem the reaction isn't quite done. Crap.
While I don't want to be a Peetie-downer...
Doin' a good job, mate...
