Honest question. Why do people get excited about Erie Western? Never seen one of their cars in real life and never heard of the road.

No doubt you'll be doubly delighted when the weathered version is released.

I want to give a shout out to @Shipsure for the Z-Scale Weathered 8-pack of TTX Husky Stack cars.   Especially since there are only 8 cars, not 16.   :)    Made the difference between being a purchase and not, if your bosses ask.   Anyway, thanks...really looking forward to them.  (and if you want to make one set with less garish graffiti--eg side A of car 6 on your artwork--put my name on it and send it to z.scale.hobo,   I'll send you, like, 500 Abe Lincolns if you do.   :D  :P )

Nice, Crowley containers. I could use a six pack.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

They were emblematic of piggyback intermodal circa 1982.  A small road that bought a bunch of equipment to be run on others' rails, I gather.

I attempted to order 2 of the decal sets for the 737 fuselage yesterday and was told that MT was sold out and "they" can't get any ? ?

Lots of secondhand owners and patches make for interesting projects.... I've been waiting on this 4780 scheme for some time.

Any chance that tie crane will be available separately?

I would assume so after the sets are released.

I will be picking up of of these kits when it is released separately.

The fuselage decals are already sold out at hogtrainz.

They were still shown as available at the time I posted the link.

Did anyone ever receive any of these? A couple of suppliers ordered and never received any and the response from MTL is that they are sold out and will not rerun. I needed 5 sets for my original runs. Guess that’s what I get for getting stuff early.

@Shipsure any suggestions here?

After Hogtrainz canceled my paid for pre-order on May 7th, on the 8th, I was able to purchase the few sets that remained in MB Klein's and Top Hobby Trains' inventory.

What I was able to buy would not cover all of the previous run sets that are currently on hand.

Certainly not a happy camper.

As I have not bought any of the newly released fuselage train sets, does anyone know if they were packaged with an extra set of decals, as was the case with the second run?

It is my understanding that the collapsed grip box that is located on the deck of the flatcar bearing the 737 fuselage is a separate laser cut component that must be attached by the end user.

Does anyone know if this is so?

@Shipsure , if you need ideas for more releases of the Evans 4780, I'd gladly take this one too (please, please, please!):
