Yes! Finally some Southern cabooses in the old scheme. I may be in for all three road numbers. I believe Southern also had transfer cabs in that scheme, but I don't think I've seen a photo to confirm it for sure.
Yes, the build dates imply that the first transfer cabooses wore a scheme similar to this but I've never come across a photo.

Summer. Sorry I can't be more specific than that but we our working with our new factory so there is a learning curve. So far so good.

I found one: http://southern.railfan.net/images/archive/southern/caboose/xc117556.jpg

I have some screenshots from slides that were on EBay, but couldn’t tell what lettering scheme they had from the angle they were taken. Even though they don’t show the lettering, they do show that the railing, grabs, and those boxy looking steps were yellow. The frame is black, body is red, but I’m not sure what the roof was. Also not sure if the lettering is white or yellow since the slides don’t really show a broadside view.

I did just send a message to one of the Southern email groups I belong to, asking what color the lettering and the roof was. Hopefully someone on there will know.

Oh no, the wife's going to kill me   I already have two of the P&LE bay windows on pre-order and now it's looks like I'll be adding a couple of the N&W bay windows to the list  :scared:

Craig said sometime early October for release here since he expects them to be on the boat this week and a 5 week transit time.
