Nothing made me smile more broadly than this.

If I ever find myself in imminent danger, perhaps in a collapsing cave, or on a doomed flight, and hope to find some comfort, I will do my best to have this video available on my phone.

It will serve ever forward as my Rosary.  So simple, so well finished, and so wonderfully and thoughtfully photographed and filmed.

You've captured every single thing that I enjoy about this silly hobby.
Thank you.

Well said Lee.  In all honestly, it’s not the first time I’ve thought you’ve missed your calling as a writer.

We’ll said. But it also reminded me how much a difference flywheels in n-scale locomotives make for smooth operation. That was a major factor in rekindling my interest in the hobby.

@DKS...this is one exquisite model railroad. you have captured and elevated so many dimensions of the hobby in this wonderfully compacted space. your work is a fine example of what can be achieved in even N scale and the space requirement. This definitely raises modelling to the next level. Congrats on your work and thanks for sharing it here.
it is very appreciated
sincerely

The Newport and Rock Falls has new ownership.

The Directors Special arrived this morning, suitably pulled by an old Trix F unit in the new Home Road livery.

Nice to see that the N&RF will continue to exist under the stewardship of an expert conservator.

Congrats Lee.  Maybe you could put this in your new cabin so that fellow TRW members can see/operate this when they rent out the cabin.  ;)
