I prefer the falls.  Mostly because of the deer adding nice atmosphere.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Fisherman or Falls, Fisherman or Falls.
I know, Put the fisherman in the shot for the falls.

Fisherman shot with either a wider angle or camera moved left but shot panned right to look up the ravine a little more.

Yeah, everyone’s a critic, but the question was posed.

Helicopter shot doesn’t work at such a high angle.

I like the fisherman.
I also noticed for some time that most of the N-Scale's published articles are *VERY, VERY* photo rich.  Sometimes they have several pages dedicated just to photos. Many are half-page size.  Just check out the latest 3 issues for some examples of that. I have a feeling that if you include all three photos, they will all get published.

I like the falls best, But the light in the background is a problem. you could retake the photo blocking out some of the light or you can use Lightroom to fix the lighting issue. if you do not have or use Lightroom you can email me the photo is the highest quality you can and I can try and fix the lighting for you. jlunn@hotmail.com

I appreciate the offer. These were just quickie test shots to evaluate composition, under natural lighting conditions. The finals will be taken under controlled lighting conditions, and I'll make any adjustments needed with Photoshop and/or Photopaint.

If you are good with Photoshop you should look into Lightroom for your photo editing. Its also an adobe product but is designed for editing RAW files. I use it 9 times out of 10 over photoshop for normal photo editing.

Or just enable the Camera Raw plugin in Photoshop. https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/kb/camera-raw-plug-in-installer.html

seems to be a minority opinion, but I really like the helicopter—from above—photo. it shows the context within which the scenery is located and gives a better viewing of that area and the skilled work that has brought it to life.

Very nice looking. Can hardly wait to see some trains running on it to bring it to life.
