I got my Trix ones USED off of Ebay, as I knew they were going to get heavily redone anyway.

Used, look more like the market is around $20, that's what I paid I think.

You want to pay attention to the frogs and frog condition, as that is a very long insulated frog, so long that Trix put pickup strips on the bottom of it, that actually work quite well as long as flanges are deep enough to touch it.

They actually work quite well with my Kato 11-105 critter chassis, quite surprised.   The only 'ooof' is getting the MicroAce Atlas 4-4-0 through them, that was a tuning chore, because the lead truck is very derailment prone.

I also run the Atlas Shay through the tight side, uphill, works fine.

Did a little research field trip today.

Then I found another scene that begs to be modeled

The old concrete overpass just to right of this was single track, but it was demolished in the late 90s, so no one will notice when I put it on a module with a two track line...

That might be worth the investment...  I've not seen them from US vendors.  Can you recommend a source?

I just saw this right now. Tell me what you might need and I have a look at my box of old track. I'm sure there are one or two curved switches.
Just PM me.

Looks like I'd need a left and a right in both a long radius and a short radius curved turnouts.  Are these Peco you have?  I have a bunch of their switch machines, so that would be my preference.  (I may have two long radius curves in stock... I'll have to look)

Thanks, Tom! @keeper

Oh sorry, I should have mentioned that I have small radius curved turnouts from Trix.

In other news..

I'm the newest member of the Glyndon Station club.  This was an early print by @John that he graciously added to my collection.

Might be time to plan another module!

Someone on the WM Modelers Facebook page shared their files for the Emory Grove train order station. Was considering that for my first T-Trak module. We could tag team the whole scene!

Getting ready for Altoona on the twin bridges modules.

Thanks to @mu26aeh for providing a box of Supertrees to the cause, as well as a couple engines!
I'm thinking a couple of washes of rust and grime will help tone down the bridge color.
See you at the show!

Worked on these guys most of the day today.

Tidied up the frames, put lines on the highways, and added the sky boards.

And added the finishing touch, black paint everywhere tha isn't supposed to look like the WM.

.
A few more details to add and we'll be ready for Prime Time.
