Atlas Paul, High short hood GP-20's?

Paul have you considered producing GP-20's with a high short hood?

I have ordered an undec GP-20 (low short hood) and bought a Life Like GP-18.  These will be the parts to a Great Northern High short hood GP-20.  Only the GN and WP had these locos.  So I guess once I get this loco together Paul will introduce this loco.

I would love to see all Southern, N&W and W&LE locomotives produced by Atlas, available in the high short hood option. I do understand Atlas point, you need special molds for just four road names, if you include the NS units. Remember folks, this is not a knock against Atlas as they have produced a few models with high short hoods and I thank them for those excellent models. If I had to choose just one more to add to the list, I'd love to see the Atlas N scale GP35 added to the high short hood list.  :D

You think we'd be seeing chopped nose GP7s and GP9s first.

It is on our radar, however we will have to see if the parts needed can be run independently AND will assemble together properly.

While you are checking you might as well research the GP30 as well......

Hi nose GP30 would be almost completely new tooling to do it correctly as the brow on the cab is different from high and low nose units.

Perfect opportunity to retool the GP30 to match the GP40 in accuracy...  ;)

That's perfect, the GP30 needs new tooling anyway.

Hey, I bought couple of them when they were released!   :D  Unfortunately, their very small outline and very short profile does not make them a good canvas for all the fantasy schemes (like Circus, Hersheys, or Pepsi).   :D

Actually - Paul - this may be a good option for the hobby...

There have been a BUNCH of games started by such fund raising methods, along with lord knows what else.

I gotta ask.. how bad were sales of these? I don't think I have seen a new scheme of them in years. At one point I had one in CR but I lost it.

I'm waiting for the Bachmann version with couplers larger than the car.
