So, the seller actually listed three of these, with two day separation between all three.   For posterity, since ebay won't keep the info up past 90 days, here's screenshots...
Sale prices $58, $66.67 and $71.
The same guy won all three, but the 2nd place bidder was different for each one, and each one had three bidders at $50 or more, with the final one having five bidders at $58 or higher.

I'M will get to them... Eventually. There are some crazy bidders out there but it doesn't mean there is huge demand. Though I think these would sell well, especially as a "value line" item.

The Exactrail TTX bulkheads are the same way.  Currently 1 listed, 5 bidders, 16 bids.  Currently $46.  Last auction was for pair, went for mid-$90's.

If demand is decent enough in HO , they'll do them in N. It wouldn't make any sense not too, unless somebody else already is and we would not necessarily know if the other party(s) are.

Still waiting for the Thrall 53 articulated well car, the 73 center partition car or the trainman bulkhead flat to trickle down, this cars have been around for a while and are in quite a few Nscalers wish list but no dice. Just saying not everything Atlas does trickles down. Sure ER has done the bulkhead and RC the center partition but not lately and the prices this cars get on EBay shows they are is demand just like one of the most numerous boxcars around that no one seems too want to sell.

Those 3 examples all had double-digit number of bids.  It would be curious if those bids were from several buyers, or just a bidders-duel between 2 or 3 nickle-and-dime bidders.  That would be a better gauge of what the demand is. Also, whether the same few individuals bid on all 3 auctions, or all different bidders.

Yes, they were mostly the same bidders, but this doesn't really mean that much.  What's more meaningful is that the prices went up as the auctions went on.  The losers kept trying harder to win after losing the first ones, and we can't even say for sure what the ceiling is on the price. It shows that people want these badly.  And we have no idea how many bidders would have put in bids in the $40-$50 range but never had a chance.
