I've started getting dirty!

The high $99 eBay price seems to be because Walthers is out of stock of the
N scale IceHouse Kit, and someone is offering it for sale at that price in hopes
that someone would want it enough to pay the higher price.   

When it was available, the regular price is $27.99 or so.

If it were me, I would wait and continue to look around.  Somewhere, on some
hobby shop shelf, or in someone's N scale collection, is an
unbuilt Walthers IceHouse kit that they'd be willing to sell at
a lower price.

Eventually, Walthers may decide to re-run the kit.

Geez, I can remember way back when I posted my first model RR photos online way back when, about 4 years ago.  I had *no idea* what weathering was way back then.

As I've said before, I owe a big Thanks to all here who have got me started
on weathering.   It's challenging yet fun, looks a lot better.  Also makes me

By the way, as of 2/8/08, my Comcast ISP is experiencing major problems (again)
with their web storage, so many of my previous photo postings on this thread
for the past several months are offline... unfortunately, I cannot
recommend their service.  Someday they will fix...   until then, sorry!
If they stay offline much longer I will move the photos to a different ISP
and fix the previous posts.
