Finished the lift bridge module this week. My layout is back in action again! The bridge itself is the kit from Custom Model Railroads.

I also finished my custom NS SD70ACe's. Completely detailed with BLMA wire grabs and cut levers, Trainworx SD70ACe detail set (fans, see-through side grills, sunshades), custom paint and weathering, and ESU LokSound Direct with a 16mm x 9mm speaker and enclosure.

I'll bet that transformer is coming home to the company after being replaced. Probably just got replaced...

It looks like it's part of a museum display.

http://www.tracksidescenery.com Joey Ricard is the proprietor - great guy to work with and a fellow modeler. An excellent one at that.

There is nothing in that picture that doesn't look like real life . I have never seen modeled water look so real . It would seem model railroading is no challenge for you . Just wow .

Reason for the sign is that car with transformer load is an exhibit; it's sitting outside the Roundhouse at the B&O Railroad Museum in downtown Baltimore...

Where did you put the speaker Chris?

Great job on the detailing.

Here you go, James. With the frame and grills being open, I glued a small tube behind the rear headlight for the LED to slip into and act as a light shield. The speaker is a 9x16mm.

At least half my weekend is being spent taking a full physical inventory of all the Micro Trains trucks/couplers in the "warehouse" at the hobby shop I have recently been working at. Yesterday was primarily spent restocking/reorganizing the Kadee rack, and restocking the Micro Trains rack.
Work has been my only "train time" for a few months now.

That is some incredible work on that module, Chris. Well done!

I went up to Flint, MI the other weekend to chase the Huck and 1225 Christmas trains. Something really bad happened on the way home as my traveling party stopped at Rider's Hobby Shop (Highly recommended if you're in the area). I don't know if it was my friend bad advise, or The Railwire Effect of changing from N scale to HOn3, but I bought a narrow gauge gondola made by Micro-Trains. I have to admit, I'm pretty smitten by it and the itch to search for more HOn3 has flared up pretty badly. I don't know if Doctor Dave could prescribe me something to calm my fixation with it now.

I did return to my senses this week with a couple days off from work. In that time I was able to finish off some track work and wiring on one module, along with starting to build some structures for the next. I also made some end plates so I can stack the modules, which will make it easier to work on the layout in the tight space that I'm working in.
