Very eastern road dominated run of road names.

Not dominated enough: no NH units in green/yelloe stripe scheme. And they had both FA1s and FB1s. Guess I have to wait an eternity for them, like the pre-McGinness paint NE-5s Atlas still hasn't run (ironic because the NE5 was a NH prototype). If MTL releases the single-window coaches w/o any in NH, well I won't be surprised.  :(
Don't these train mfgrs realize most of us N scalers are old geezers and won't be around forever?

You still can find Life-Like NH green units on the secondary market easily. I suspect Atlas will release NH New Image first and then green/orange before releasing green, so it will be a while.

You act like all of the NE-6 schemes were released at once, when it happened over a number of years. There’s still a common scheme that Atlas never has released. If you’re anxious or impatient regarding the NE-5, buy undecs and paint them.

I should sell my C-Liner sets before they bring those back...

A couple of weeks past, the last of my Penn and NYC FAs went on FeePay.  Good timing for me, -eh?  What is funny is that while the FAs fetched good prices, some of the C-Liners did not do so well.  There was one NYC pair that I had to re-list and all that it brought was opening bid.   The Eries started snipe wars.  I had one B-chassis on which  I shoved an NYC A shell, listed it as such and it fetched a price far beyond list after a furious snipe war.

Atlas should do the Eries, as I am sure they will sell out of some roads before they put them onto the truck at the factory in China.

GM&O had some with the window guttering like the PAs had.

If the LL shells will fit, those who have them can sit tight until the less popular roads go on White Elephant Sale and pick up the power chassis cheap.

Oh man, I remember the STACKS of GN FA sets we were blowing out for $49.99 back when I worked at Kleins. I think those alone paid my salary that year.

Back in 2006, Walthers was clearing them out - in various roadnames, including GN - for $42.98 per A/B set.

Waiting on FA-1s in Reading, and FA-2s in WM (all four of them), and then I will be set.  Great news!  Sound should be pretty good in these units!

Great,   I see a ABA set of Erie Lackawanna FA pulling coal trains on my railroad in the future.  :)

I`m glad to see that the old Walthers/Life Like stuff is coming out and I hope it sells to beat the band.  Tired of Walthers Reps telling me at every show "there is no market for N scale, you guys don't build enough"

Yeah, maybe we should go to the Walthers booth at Amherst and say "Hey, I'm glad you sold all the LL stuff to Atlas.  People are buying tons of the reruns from them! ".

Waiting on FA-1s in Reading,

There are a couple of LL A-B pairs up on FeePay in Reading Company black with green stripe.  There is even one with a NE caboose and a couple of freight cars.  There is one LL  A unit only, as well.

There are also a couple of Atlas/RoCo FAs up there in Reading Company black with green stripe.  I did not know that Atlas did those.

I've got two or three in Reading colors that I bought from The Train Master in Albany, NY in the 80's (I think). I could be convinced to part with them...

Most likely the prices on the secondary market for the LL FAs will start to plummet, so this will be a good time for modelers of the LL roads released previously to pick up some extras for shell-swapping onto the new mechanisms.

GimpLizard:  I hope you get your GN, although they were gone before my era.

I would like a pair of SP&S FAs, in the modern yellow, although even they were gone by 1974.  The BN kept the SP&S Alco hood units, but the FAs only lasted a couple years, many going to the Long Island.
