Bachmann F7 decoder (N scale)

Recently I purchased a pair of Bachmann F7's (item 63851) on the cheap, for the sole purpose of having ready to run DCC power for my track cleaning train, and to run the crap out of it. To my surprise, they run pretty well out of the box, nice and slow though a little noisy, and I'm quite happy with my painless investment. So, I bought another pair, with the idea that perhaps I could use the $39 DCC powered B chassis under some dummy BLI B units. Pic below.

Of course to attempt speedmatching, I'd need to cut down the top speed to match my other 50mph max. units (maximum speed on Cajon layout during my era). Unfortunately, Bachmann doesn't include any CV programming info in their paperwork, nor can I find anything recent online. CV5 seems to do nothing. Anyone here have any information about these decoders? I don't need to hear that Bmann decoders are crap, etc etc., for the money I spent I don't expect much. I'm looking for useful programming information, if there is such a thing out there.
Advice appreciated!
Otto K.

Stock Bachmann decoders do not support cv 5 or 6 ..  I always ripped them out and put in a cheep Digitrax decoder , They work a lot better and support all standard CV's ......Mike

Those are really stripped down decoders. Here is a link to the manual (showing which CVs are supported).

Thanks for the replies guys, I suspected as much. So it would seem I have extra power for my cleaning train... :P
Pete, I did see the specs for which you sent me the link, but that's for a smaller decoder, this one has a 9x5x75mm board. Unfortunately, the functionality, or lack thereof, is apparently the same. It does support CV2, but not 5 or 6.
Oh well...
