@rodsup9000 , Would you mind terribly renaming the topic adding the color or name of the resin, so folks don't have to sift through one thread for the settings?

This way we can have a thread for each resin for changes over time.

I don't know if you have seen this yet?

Thanks for looking out, John. 8)  That's buried several places in the Anycubic thread, now another place. ;)   They are useful for getting started.  You'll even see a few of them are from MarkW.  :)

I'm using:

.05
18
6.5
115
8

And getting failed prints. First one printed fine until half way and then I think suction started to pull the print off. Second one it stuck to the FEP and not the plate.

Put some vent holes and hollowed it out and will try again tomorrow to see if it's OK now.

I use the exact same settings.  If the print is pulling away just in the corners add more supports to the corners.

Other than that maybe take the ball head apart and check for hidden screws that are loose.

It pulled away half way, from one end and not what I'd say is the corners.

Head seems rock solid but I'll check it again. Test cube printed fine but everything else is fail fail fail. Gonna move up in supports and see if that my issue

In this video around 40 seconds you see 3 screws.

I kept getting prints stuck to the FEP and would re-level all the time. Once I found those 3 screws loose I haven't had a problem since.

Crap you know what.  :|  It may be the 4 screws under the 3 screws I mentioned.

Once you get in there I'd tighten them all.

It was winter the last time I had to level my plate or had a failed print.

All rock solid. But I re-leveled and double checked screws so I'm gonna give it another shot.

I had the advantage of buying my machine after several folks here so had the advantage of seeing their struggles, checking their identified issues and procedures, before I ever tried my first print.  @Mark W and @Chris333 specifically come to mind. 8)

In addition to the wobble caused by the loose screws make sure that the build plate is truly clean.  I know others have used 91% alcohol for cleaning the plate but the recommended, fairly often stressed in any written instructions, is 99% pure alcohol and that's all I've used and have had near zero problems maintaining attachment to the build plate.  When I did have a problem it was when I was concerned before to start the print that I had way too little attachment area relative to the area of the print as it developed.  That area is generally less, often a lot less, than the max area of the print as it develops so the reliable attachment is not always accomplished by just adding grossly oversized attachment platforms.

The one other potential issue is resin that has not been mixed thoroughly.  Here is what I have done from the start, again based on reading and descriptions of other's trials and tribulations.  Because it has worked basically 100% of the time, I have never varied these steps.  They just worked.

Before I pour any from the bottle I shake it a LOT, at least a minute.  When I have left the resin in the machine (with the windows blocked out with magnetic plastic sheets) I will use the furnished scraper to smoothly and gently drag along the bottom of the vat making sure to get all of the corners, held at a shallow angle to tend to lift the resin up from the film, repeating several times in both x and y axis.  Then on start, I'll repeat the machine "zero" step several times to allow the build plate to act as a mixer for the volume of resin in the vat.  I'm not sure if this repeated zeroing helps but am comfortable that it doesn't hurt.  :)  That's about it. 8)

Some of the kooks of Facebook sand the build plate. I never did though.

Also if you got one failed print you may have something stuck to the FEP. I keep a plastic spoon next to the machine to stir the resin, but also use it to feel the FEP for stray stuff.

And the Photon File Validator will help make sure there are no loose pixels to get stuck with no supports.

Neither did I. :)  Nor have I reset the plate squareness nor the zero from the first time I set it up.  I also didn't get silly with the "zero" setting, just following the guidelines and not doing any extra jogs beyond the .003" clearance set by using the paper as a gauge.  I mention this only because I have heard of folks doing all sorts of crazy stuff with this and it is not only unnecessary but risks damaging the film or worst case, the glass screen.
