Anyone happen to know of a file for HO scale wooden barrels?

there's a set of files on thing verse for HO metal [55 gal us] barrels, close enough ?

I have a ton of 55 gallon steel barrels made by Tichy. Looking for wood, some places call them kegs.

It would be really simple to rescale.

It seems Anycubic has a firmware update that brings Anti-Aliasing to the Photon. 
It's being beta tested by several Photonsters now.  I'll definitely be looking forward to the results and will try to share them here.

So how does that work?  Do they just alter the brightness of pixels?

Yeah, I'm curious to see if it makes a significant difference.  I've seen an opinion that it can also reduce details. Might be a trade off?

I had a support fail so the part stuck to the FEP, and in removing the VAT to remove the part stuck to the FEP, turns out the part was not the only thing stuck to the FEP. 

New screen arrives tomorrow, so we'll get to see how simple it is to replace.

Yes, it's the entire LCD screen.  The glass is not separate, but laminated as part of the screen itself. 

New LCD arrived.  Replacement looks pretty straight forward, but I might wait until the weekend.  My other Photon is still going strong, so not a total loss in productivity as we get closer to my next product announcement!

Ok, the LCD replacement was pretty simple.  I guess the plate glass lives below the LCD, I always thought it was on top, which made me think it was part of the LCD itself. 

The old LCD has an elbow in the ribbon itself, the new one has a connection joint that changes its direction.  Unfortunately this meant the new ribbon with connector could not fit through the gap of the plate glass and the frame.  I had to disconnect the elbow connection, feed the ribbon, then re-connect the elbow.

Also, the screws that re-attach the face cover are recessed about a centimeter, but that area is completely open.  So you have to balance the screw and thread it all in one shot, otherwise it goes 'tink' and you have to remove the whole cover again to retrieve it.  There are four screws you gotta install this way, and yep, I dropped the 4th one on the first go.   

Nonetheless, everything is back together, the LCD tested great, and first print is in progress!

It is  in times like this where you need to improvise.  If the screws are steel then magnetize your screwdriver. If non magnetic, stick a dab of some sticky substance (Play-Doh, modeling clay, pre-chewed chewing gum, or similar) at the end of the screwdriver tip to hold the screw. 

I've been thinking about that screen.  It can't be standard color LCD screen used on smart phones or tablets - it needs to be monochrome, right?  Have you ever been curious what it looks like while printing (start a print job with the resin vat and plate removed)?  I'm one of those people who loves to find out how things work.

Was there an expense in all of this or was the screen warrnted?  Not trying to pry, but i was wondering how much the screen was to replace.
