I feel like this should have it’s own board here.

That would be great so that we could list our setting for the different resins and layer heights.
 We could also share files.

Would a sticky thread here in W,D,&S work for print setting sharing?

How big are the files you want to share?  We could make a special folder for them in the gallery here.

@tom mann , could we start a different thread on the expansion topic and move the related posts there?  This thread is becoming quite cluttered, if you don't mind.

I like where this is headed tough!  The gallery would also have to allow additional fil;e extensions beyond pictures.

.stp , .stl, .igs, .dwg, .dxf and that's all I can think of right now. CAD is heavy data sometimes.  I would say 25meg for now.

OH WOW...I don't know if I want to open the gallery up to that kind of uploading.  :)

I re-leveled the table on mine and ran a print. Print came out fine. Just for fun right after I cleaned the table I screwed it back on and lowered it down to the screen. It was no longer level. I'm sure there is some kind of play in that screw that quick dis-connects the table from the machine. Think I'll end up re-leveling every time now just in case.

That's way overkill, and likely to cause more issues than prevents since you're changing that variable every time, so troubleshooting becomes guessing game.

I've only leveled a total of 5 times.  Twice when first starting with translucent green, three more times when starting out with grey.  Once I get it set, I leave it (unless it obviously moves, which is a good thing to check periodically.)  I haven't had any issue with taking build plate assembly on/off between print runs.

Some of these layers can put a surprising amount of force/suction on the plate, so make sure you lock that hex screw down pretty hard.  And also try to 'balance' the build plate so there is even forces on either side of the plate.

Hmm, great point. On single builds probably good to center on the tray as well.  I can see where angling the build would have positive effect on fluid runoff as well between layers.

Has anyone commented on how loud the machine is when running?

@Mark W ,  So looking at your images there are a few concerns as i mentioned.  I have tried to scale my viewer to roughly the same scale, orientation and perspective view you present.  I have the edges represented in the model so you can see the geometry as compared to the printing.

In the end view I see some missing detail that is not on the print, a small chunk missing, and some non-sharp corners/edges.

In the bottom view I see some waviness in the sides and a bow in the rear wall.  I am also curious of the printed dimensions in my image, if you could measure.

The print must fit this assembly and snap into the grooves of this also printed stainless tender frame and over the re-used electronics.

A straight on side view of the lower edge to see if it is srtaight and a picture of the rear face to see the rectangular depression for the builder's tender plate would also be helpful.

I am impressed with the wall thickness so far, but it looks as though the corner rendering is not very crisp.  I am wondering if the 0.02mm print layer (I think you mentioned 0.05mm earlier) would solve this as well as the missing detail on the doors.

I do sincerely thank you very much for printing this as a test for others to see the capabilities.

Keep in mind that I could likely live with these "imperfections" but I don't think I could ship that shell in a kit, at this point...

As for sound there is really just a small fan that you here. The motor works up and down every once in a while, but that isn't loud either.

I'm running into a problem. I slice a model and it says 2 hours 53 min. I plug into the machine and hit start. The machine makes it's first burn and the screen says 3 hours 53 min. Then after the burn it goes to raise up and stops, the machine beeps and resets. I press play and it will do the same thing again. Yesterday it ran fine after doing that twice, but now it did it 3 times so I'm going to empty everything and look for cured resin.

Climax Boiler printed with Anycubic Gray
Printed vertically with big end 10mm off build plate Anycubic slicer and med auto support
 .02     layer
 16      normal exposure
 6.5     off
 110    bottom exposure
 8        bottom layers

You can see where I didn't get the smokebox and the boiler taper perfectly aligned.  Also see where the support was on the smokestack.

I ran into this too and found this out from somewhere on the net. "Turn machine off, take the USB stick out, turn the it back on and stick the USB stick back in".  It worked for me.

Oh yea, set the off time at 6.5 as this is the fastest it will do between exposures.

Tried that and got the same thing. Guess I'll try a new USB stick.

Earlier I posted that you can cure the resin left over in the IPA and scoop it out. I read that on FB. Tried it today and it doesn't work at all. Just turned the IPA into jello and I tossed it.

Next time I'll try putting it in the freezer to see if it separates.
