Micro-Trains Line Humvee

In his message in the November/December 2018 issue of the N Scale Enthusiast Members Magazine, Eric Smith stated:  "And, I'm pleased to share that Micro-Trains has begun working on our next all-new military load, the Humvee, for release later in 2019."

Joe had mentioned the Humvee in the Abrams tank thread, and now we have a better idea of when it will be available!   :D

I did see that, wonder how body styles they will do or if they will offer any trailers with them.

And of course you can always use them for your cities police force. Amazing at what even a small town has from decommissioned military vehicles.

If you were able t work the molds on the HMVWW so that the rear section can be removed , you could stretch the run to several other variations, such as the ambulance, Satcom, soft top, etc ...  that could be then be variations for the next 10-15 flat car releases ..  :scared:

They also have a 6-pack of empty DODX flats coming out as well.

Maybe some LAV and a new run of AAV as well.
Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

I think we just did!  :D :D   I'll certainly be getting these sets as well, and I'm already thinking some trailers and other general 'utility' equipment would be great for the after-market detail set!

I picked up a hand full of those Trumpeter AAVs mentioned in the Tank thread, so I'll likely use the flats from the Humvee set for the AAVs, and put the Humvee's on 89 footers.   I have a few ideas for equipment to fill up the empty 6 pack too.

What y’all need is:
M578 ammo supply track
M109A?..a couple of varieties 155mm self propelled howitzer
Those two plus the fuel hemmt would be pretty close to a FA battalion,,,plus support vehicles

The paladin and faasv for a modern day FA unit

Don’t forget the signal guys,,,hummer with single channel, multi channel, microwave boxes,,,plus the assorted generator trailers.

The list goes on and on.  A-A units,,maintence, engineer, patriot batteries,,MLRS launchers,,,you get the point
