The Juniata Division 2

Or just let Eric name it since he'll prob buy that too, someday. ;)

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

LOL, the "Eric District."

Sadly it isn't kidney-shaped, but if the track plan reminds you of any other organ in the body, let me know.  "The Large Intestine" probably won't fly unless you can think of an anatomical analog to the peninsula where Windy Point is.  Could be a giant polyp.

Since the area you model is the northwest portion of the line, I would suggest:

RGS Northwest District

Northeast, kinda, but I have considered "Northern Division" or "Northern District."  But I'm feeling like I want something creative.

I'm confused, it's a layout representing the Rio Grande Southern First District
Unless I'm missing something, that's the railroad name.
Or, how about the NARGL?
Not Another Rio Grande Layout
:P sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm reminded of the last visitor to my layout who knew nothing about what it was. Someone walking him into the room from the hallway said that it was a On30 and the other guy's reply before entering the room upon hearing that was, "Swell, not another Rio Grande layout..." He admitted later he'd actually assumed nobody was modelling NG outside of CO/NM anymore.
I didn't hold it against him, narrow gauge is RG-centric in this country, no question about that.

As far as I knew it was mainly a Maine thing.

Call it the Ridgway & Rico, or the R&R, for short - with the slogan "The Road to Retirement".

Oh, you're right...  I'm not looking to name my railroad...  It's still very much the Rio Grande Southern Railroad Company First District.  I mean the layout itself...the physical "thing" that holds the trains and allows them to run.  Like when I was in N scale...  I modeled the Pennsylvania Railroad, America's Broad Way of Commerce, the Standard Railroad of the World.  I called the layout--the pair of hollow-core doors covered in "stuff"--the Juniata Division.

EDIT:  I'm profoundly disappointed that @chicken45 didn't suggest the "Rio Grande Southern Fist(ing) District in HOn3."
