print new M113A3 without skirts and without frontplate

the Bravo Company is complete now

next step: complete the Charlie Company (M2A3 Bradley)

Those M113s looks great! Are they from a public file or available via somewhere?

@vermonter_railfan: It's a M113 A1 and I added the external fuel tanks

the M113 is from Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4718232

and the fueltanks from Cults3D: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/35-scale-m113-external-fuel-tank-look-a-like

I scaled both down

Items added or updated recently: M983A4 LET with fifth wheel in flat position, ideal for trailers...

Which, naturally, demands a trailer...

In two versions, the M870 and M870A1:

The 983 is found as a file in the main 983: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6005426

M870/A1 here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6626948

It was a load of work to get them in functional form... think I grabbed both of off Thingiverse but don't recall. I'll have to do some checking around.

Thank's for the trailers and the M983 modification, it comes at the right time.

Just caught a DODX shipment through Vancouver. A couple of reference shots for the group:

Inching closer to wrapping up my version of drop-in replacement tracks as I missed jumping onto the bandwagon a couple of years ago... eventually I'll learn, but I doubt it.

Various versions depicted, the direct drop in, the version with missing rear skirt panel (requires hull modification), and add-on details like spare track links, road wheels, and combat ID panels.

Side-on showing details on the T158LL track links. They show up on my 8k printer.

Thought is to have a one-off car with a pair bound for Anniston, missing their skirts entirely. Unfortunately, due to the MTL hull design, these sit higher than they ought.

@John

Yes, at some point over the next couple of weeks mostly likely. Thought is the basic version will be free and the versions with missing panels and whatnot will be some nominal fee at cults.

That's great .. I had some of the original tread replacements from Mark when the M1s first came out .. but I still need to do a bunch of replacements .. looking forward to the cults uploads ..

Next question - the main gun on the MT M1s doesn't match some of the other designs I've seen online .. they are shorter and a bit thicker .. is there a difference between the M1 and the M1As?

I've not measured the MTL barrel vs. measurements but the 105 and 120 but the 105 on the M1 is apparently both longer and slightly thinner. Bore evacuator is a different shape as well on the 120mm cannon; I think the MTL shape models the 120mm.
