I need some M88A2 Hercules tank retrievers for mine.  BAE in York PA would get them in by rail over the Hanover Sub for upgrade/retrofit work

I would be interested in a couple of those" M1150 ABV or called M1 Breacher" I have the ploughs already from Shapeways. I have 2 x M88A2s also from Shapeways. The tracks on thesese are approx 2 scale feet too wide.

I need some M88A2's and M48 AVLB's (sans bridge) .... in Z-Scale.   :scared:   If anyone comes across either of these please let me know.   I've searched, but Z-Scale items--if available at all--tend to hide in the crevices of the Internet.  Perhaps if someone is printing them in N, I could persuade them to take a crack at scaling one down, as another option.  8)

That is outstanding work on the breacher.

As for the M88A2 in Z, here it is in 144 you could try scaling it down to see what it would look like. I really am looking for an M88A1 as those where the ones my unit had and is in my time line, the A2 are newer, could fug it I guess.

Thanks for the link.  Honestly, I need to research as to exactly which one I need....the A1 or the A2.  I certainly think that A2 could work regardless so, again, thanks.

There is a double pack on Shapeways

https://www.shapeways.com/product/XS3ZQ9CJW/2x-bergepanzer-m-88-1-160-spur-n?optionId=63886881&li=marketplace

It's not cheap, but i think it's a good kit.

gi-depp, those on shapeways are close, they are the German made ones, they are boxier than the American made M88A1s, I have thought about them several times but never have pulled the trigger on them. That I do not like the end results of the SW prints. I would love to find one to 3D print on my Photon. I do appreciate you pointing them out though.

There was a great M88A1 from Out of Box. They pulled their models off of SW. I tried to work out a deal with them to obtain just this model so that I could print a few. At first they thought I wanted all their models and was working to come up with paperwork. As soon as got that strait the communication basically stopped, that was about a year ago.

I have a pretty large Sketup model of the M88A1. but it was not designed for 3D printing unfort.

Well, I grabbed the Thingiverse M88 and added it to yesterday's print job. Scaled it at 0.9 and printed it at the local fab lab on a FormLabs 2. I just removed most of the supports and haven't painted or anything... I printed it fairly nose-down (say 40 degrees) and the plow got buried in a mass of supports and I managed to break it whilst attempting to remove the supports. I'd tried the nose-down approach to limit supports on and under the crane. Next time I'll have to try much more level or something. It's next to an unpainted MTL M1 for scale.
