Speechless..........

Awesome stuff already. I started adding some Supertrees. God it feels good to be laying down scenery again. This is modeled after the Upper Lehigh Line in the Lehigh Gorge. A little modern and a little mashup of late 60’s-70’s. Cornell Red does go well in the fall.

Nice shot!...I am wondering, is the end handrail on the GP9 a separate part now?

Nice work painting that walkway.  But bro, you need to paint the steps yellow.  You're 90% there.  The last 10% isn't that much more work.   :ashat:

shield your eyes...

Ed should be required to post a warning to B&O and WM modellers to  scroll down the page before logging into their accounts.

It is a good thing that I was not in the back seat of an Uber car.  I would have been hit with a two-hundred dollar clean-up charge.

Yes, and it's a major step backwards in my opinion. The old handrail casting was an amazing piece of plastic moulding; the new one is much more 70's like, with big fat handrails and end rails that don't stand up straight. BUT the old handrail casting still fits the current production, and can be ordered from Atlas.

I noticed it wasn't standing up fully straight in the photo, so I suspected. I have only one of the GP9s, and it's the older style, and is quite nice like you say, and stands up pretty straight too!

So I was cleaning track this morning and thought to put the Atlas vacuum car at the end of the string of Predators.  Here are the results of the four passes I made:

Each pile represents one circuit of the Sub.  I stopped in the staging area each time to do a quick empty and clean, and put the results in it's own pile.  I think I'm gonna keep going and see at what point I can make it all the way around without a stop and with a lot less than I see here...

So I think I can now call the damage repair (with one exception, see the last photo) complete.  Here's what it looks like, a major improvement from before the damage, the grass is a lot nicer now.

Here's a tele shot of the new highway I like.  I will have some additional improvements to the scene in future.

Finally, the previously mentioned exception; I think this could be an interesting scene.  Any suggestions?  It's about a train length out of Oakville, and the only area out of the main room that sustained damage.  It's an easy fix to make it like it was, but after the highway I could be ready to do something with it.  Seems to be crying for SOMETHING...

It looks good, but to my eye the center color looks a little too yellow and uniform. Looking at the prototype photo, it looks like the streaks are darker in the center and feather out to the ribs

I think it is too uniform. Here it is at an angle.

In other news, I've built one of my two ESM MEC gondola kits. It was amazingly easy to build, although I did change a couple of things as I went along. I used BLMA wire grabs instead of the etched ones, FVM wheels and I fitted True-Scale couplers. Still need to fit cut levers and ACI plates, then weather heavily.

Then I've been working on a pair of F7s. One heavily weathered Maroon & Gold and one freshly painted Blue Dip. The Maroon engine still needs it's white numbers applied over the weathering, it will be 4265. Their both Kato models

The final thing I've been doing this week is modifying a Kato caboose into a B&M one. The Kato model is very similar to a group of B&M rebuilt by Morrison International in 1959, but there are some differences. First, the cupola needs to be moved towards one end, then raised slightly. Then the windows need to be reworked. Their about the right size, but in the wrong orientation. I've filled in the openings, marked out the new windows, and drilled holes in the corners. Finally, the trucks need to be changed. I've found a set on Shapeways that look right, I'll order them soon.

I like ALL of this. If you were not here then or missed it, there is a thread about those former Laconia cars here:

How about the Lehigh Southwest cement plant?
