Yes, they are finely-detailed. MIcorscale used to use silk-screening process - I think they still do. That results in excellent quality decals.
Microscale makes several generic graffiti decal sets that can be used on buildings, but being silk-screened, they are not all that great quality-wise.

I've used a few of these recently and I like them very much. They have no white ink in them and they are slightly translucent, so they're best applied to a light background. Also, many of the pieces are quite large and require a correspondingly large canvas (e.g. most of a 50' boxcar side). The tower looks great! I agree that the larger graf could stand to be toned down just a notch, but wow.
The layout needs some sort of a greasy spoon or burger joint: http://www.esmc.com/9150/Item9151.htmlUnless, of course, you'd prefer pizza: http://www.blairline.com/pizzaland/
Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of a corner bar. I do have the Pizzaland kit, and it was part of an earlier version of the plan.
I'd say it needs a Chinese takeout place.
You could do a derelict version of the ESMC White Tower/Castle kit.Something along the lines of this one in southern NJ:It could even be taken a step further:
Ooh, I like these! My problem, though, is space. It would take some rearranging to work something like this in, but I'm not adverse to trying.
