Thanks for the report. FVM will drain my bank account with all those intermodal goodies.
Micro Trains will also get lots of money from me with those DODX flats and tanks.

Why would they bother when BLI seems to have cornered the E market?

Plenty of other former LL and Walthers goodies needed before these.

Nothing wrong with competition. I'm sure Atlas would be able to pull it off if they do decide to dust off the shell tooling. I'd rather a LL/Atlas E6/E7 since they got the dimensions right, IMO.

Oh, my aching wallet. Mercy.

That about sums it up. Hell the 38 PS boxcar variations alone could kill the wallet.

Thanks, Bryan!

Did I see Deluxe Woodchip cars at FVM???

The 20', 40', 45' and 48' containers in the photos are all ex-DeLuxe cans too, in schemes they did. That's an interesting development, and surely needed.

Thank you for the info and pics! I glad there is a something for everyone.
A C39-8, kudos for making a new loco. I do not know how many roads had them.
Are there more products to be announced,or can I put my wallet away now?

Adding to this, not everyone wants sound, and Atlas has a history of offering both sound and non-sound locomotives, which BLI doesn't. I like sound, but I'd rather have ESU Loksound than Paragon3, but that may just be me.

What I really want is for Atlas to make a new mechanism for the SW8/9/1200. Something with better pickups and DCC integration, maybe sound too?

I think BLI makes a good loco for the most part. If I wasn't so picky about sound then I wouldn't care about Loksound vs Paragon sound, but I am and ESU has them beat in all aspects of DCC. So really for me if it's between a decked out with grab irons and details modern diesel or E/F unit vs a not so detailed straight DC unit from another manufacturer I'll go with the other guy even if installing sound and extra detail is a pain in the butt.  The only exception is with steam. I generally don't double head steam and I'm not going to notice the difference that different cylinder diameters make. Speaking of which, BLI does have the T1 on display at NSE, it is sure pretty  :D

That's from the new announcements last September.
Taking it at face value, yes.

Amazing stuff here  8) Those Rio grande cabooses are jaw dropping, the 4785 covered hoppers just wow! I'm also very excited to see the PS boxcars I'll definitely need several of those. Did Trainworx have the ICG 86' Hy cube on display?

Thanks for the update Bryan!  Lots of good stuff.  Glad Atlas purchased the Walthers/Life-Like locomotive line & tooling.
