That'd probably get me to get off my butt and actually get my TV train working.
Jason, I'd suggest building yourself one of these (it don't cost much) -What we have here is sloppily laid Atlas Code 80 sectional track; featuring a 9.75" radius inner loop connected by plastic-frog turnouts to an 11" radius middle loop. The outer loop is 19" radius with curving 2% grades. If a given locomotive can handle pulling cars around all that, they're good to go for the vast majority of us Cheers,-Mark
Thanks for the info about the Turbo Train, Jason. I was the one who asked if It could navigate 9.75" curves. I'm glad that It can and I will probably order the PC version ASAP.
Amen brother! That'd probably get me to get off my butt and actually get my TV train working.
Praying the handrails fit on an SW1200RS.
So looking at the Rapido teaser
Someone on the FB thread found the top left photo, which appears to be a GP20 or a chop-nose earlier geep. Kinda unfortunate if that's the N scale product in light of news that Altas obtained the LL GP20 tooling. It is, however, totally unclear which of the four would be the N scale product.
CN never owned any GP20's, but their GP9RM's could easily be confused with one to the uninitiated. Heck, some think they resemble C-420's!I fear we're getting RDC's. God I hope I'm wrong.
