@OldEastRR , please start your own thread regarding your question or read the info on the links provided yourself.  This was obviously not meant to be a discussion thread, per my request.

Fremo - European HO scale original standard
FreemoN - N scale adaptation of Fremo.

FREMO stands for "Freundeskreis Europäischer MOdellbahner", translated Friendship of European railway modellers. In the USA there is another club, the Free-Mo for Free form Modules. Both clubs, the European and the American, are absolutely independent, but joined by common goals.

FREMO is more than an H0 standard.
It is indeed a mostly European club, but there are standards for most scales and gauges.

Here is a link to the FREMO homepage:
https://www.fremo-net.eu/en/home/

The American N-scale group within FREMO started about 15 years ago in Germany. We now have active members mostly from Germany, Sweden, Netherlands and Italy. ,
We have a sub-page on the FREMO page that shows our activites, meeting reports and standards.

Direct link to our standards (in English):

I am not familiar with the FreemoN standards, but I am sure that their standards are abailable as well for comparison....

Cheers
Dirk
