But by reading threads like this, and seeing friends and family around me using FB, I don't' need to join it and experience it in person - I have pretty darn good idea how it works.  :P

Then stop commenting.  We know you're position.

Geez, relax! That was my first comment on this long thread.   Not like I'm being obnoxious.
Besides, I was trying to stir the pot a bit, and judging by your annoyed response, I succeeded.  Go and enjoy the noise on FB - I know you love it.

And, this is a free forum - you are free to post your position on the subject as well as I am.  :P

There's a great one on The N scale Model Railroading page today, with the caption "meet my engines"..

They all have names , are trashed, and weren't great locos to begin with...

It has been said it takes all kinds to make the world go round!

You've posted at least five times in this thread.  And were the one that stated FB is just more noise, you don't need.  Then continued to post your thoughts.

I consider that borderline obnoxious.

WOW!  At least? Actually this post is the fifth one (I checked), so you must be clairvoyant.
The first post was unrelated to FB (it was about BR18 locos).  Then there was one FB related post, and the rest defending myself from FB-addicts like you.   :P

I gotta join FB, under assumed identity, so I can friend you my friend, and then "like" everything you post!    :D

That's the beauty of it, he doesn't have to accept you as a friend..
