I just about have my (CMR) PRR lift bridge completed. I'm just waiting on an order of Micro Engineering code 55 bridge track to finish it up. I guess I have to get serious about building a Free-MoN module to put it on, now...

Oh... and I did this the other night - built a hand-laid gantlet turnout using a paper template as a guide. I built it solely for a NMRA AP certificate, not the layout. I'll try making a crossing, next.  :)

If I didn't know any better, I would say that the loco in that photo is a Bachmann N-scale 0-6-0!!

Nope! That 0-6-0 is a lot fatter than the Bachmann engine.

She's a real hottie though!  Not quite as hot as their 4-4-0, but hot none the less.

Also, she's right around the corner from Señor Fox!

Love the way that "little" 0-6-0 dwarfs everything around it😀
Chris, that bridge ROCKS👌

This is my first hand laid turnout. It will be operated manually with a dpdt micro switch and @Lemosteam's Keystone Details PRR style switch machine.

Yikes! Don't let @seusscaboose see that!

Great job!

Might be so, but I still see quite a bit of the Bachmann in it.  :D

Yeah, like others mentioned, the bridge looks great, and the scratch-built turnout looks very promising!

Nice stuff so far!..Both turnouts make me envious.  8)

I weathered a caboose, my most photo worthy project for the week, more can be found in my layout thread...

Thanks for looking and have a great Father's Day weekend!

Ed,
It's right around the corner from me as well. As a matter of fact, I'll be riding behind this very loco on Sunday!

nice gantlet switch!  now there is something you don't see every day!

This week I added lights and a few details to the South Slocan station

and dug out the area where the diesel house will go.

I also got smarter and put in the wiring *right at the start* that I will eventually need for the diesel house lighting!

Have a good weekend!
