Oh come on guys, check out the Grand America. www.grandamerica.com. It's only a couple blocks from the Sheraton and the Salt water pool is wonderful! Luckily it's only supposed to be in the high 80's next week. It's supposed to be high 90's and windy for the next couple days. I HATE hot wind!!!!!!!I'm curious though about the rail fanning guys, where are you planning on watching the UP pound the rails?

10-pin or candlepin? Um, never mind, you're not from New England.
Something about that site was weirding me out. Then I realized what it was... I'm so used to corporate photography showing a racial mix of people but theirs is a box of saltines. Not complaining, just amused.
Have you ever been to Utah? A box of saltines would be the perfect description of diversity here. We do have good size population of Hispanic and Polynesian people but other ethnicities are scarce.
And Polynesians? Interesting.
There is a fairly high percentage of American Samoan and Polynesians that are Mormons.
I know candlepins - funny story - I was vacationing in Vermont and we went, I think it was near Keane, NH. I didn't know how to add up the score, but when we finished we took the sheet to the desk and the guy added it up and I had something around 120. He was like "you never did this before? That is a score a professional candlepin bowler would get". I don't think I have had a game that high since, but next month we are heading up that way again and if we find a place we will try.
That is pretty funny. If you are used to the "big ballz" then candlepin probably seems like child's play (not that I'm good at either). You don't need Popeye-forearms to candlepin. Have fun playing with the tiny balls.
My wife and I just got back from a week-long vacation in SLC--if anyone is looking for a place to stay and doesn't mind "Glamping," we stayed in one of the cabins at the Pony Epxress RV Resort in North Salt lake. Takes 10 minutes to get downtown, and the cabin rates are only $50 a night.
