Thanks Lucas, finished up more of that scene today. I wonder if the painted trees on the right side of the backdrop above the tunnel are too tall?
I brought them down, pics coming when paint dries. Going to extend rock work over portal.

Talking to Ron Marsh about pines. These forest in a flash trees suck. I wish I had the opportunity to get realistic and taller pines. Price
and accessibility prohibits that right now. I don't have a shop, so hard to do the drill winding thing or any workbench built trees. If there
is a better source I would love to know about it. I will try to change and vary the colors and mist them yellow from the top. I will be doing
palms on the other side and they are little more prototypical from some of the manufacturers.

Looked at the Rob Spangler 8th Sub desert scenery how to for Utah high desert and got the idea to re carve these two formations.
