@johnb that looks like an old soft shot where they smeared vaseline on the lense. You’ve probably got crud on the lense or moisture inside the lense or on the sensor.

I've seen pictures of elk and bighorn sheep in stock cars, as part of early restocking programs.  Usually it was only one species at a time, though...
