Source for N scale traction tires (actually multi-scale)

Traction tires can often be hard to find. Mark @strummer just reminded me about a source of universal traction tires.
There is an eBay seller named lovetrainhobbies. He sells several sizes of traction tires.  Actually his website was mentioned on TRW few times in the past, in

I just bought some Mehano replacement tires from a guy in Slovenia. They are now in New York and on the way. They will be great for a couple of like-new MRC RSD-15s I got except for flat spots from sitting on the simulated track in the MRC cases for years.

Usually the company which makes the model also supplies the tires.  Wasn't there a packet with some spares in the box?
You could also contact (call, email) Athearn and ask for some.
Or one of the sizes sold by the source mentioned here should fit the Challenger.

Indeed, although I have to say that I just ordered (2) more set of tires from the outfit Peteski's original link was for, and the combined shipping on both was under $5.00. So I think for us "State-side" buyers, "lovetrainhobbies" a pretty good resource...

As kind of a "FWIW" follow-up to this thread:

I had purchased a set of the 8mm TTs from this outfit, in the event my Rapido 2-8-2 BR41 should need replacement tires.

I was running some of my HO scale German stuff the other day, and my marvelous Roco V200 threw a traction tire: as it turns out, those "N scale" 8mms were a perfect fit to this model. Now why a loco of this size and weight (24 oz.) would need traction tires in the first place is a puzzle, and probably best left for another discussion, I suppose, but in any case, I thought I'd pass this on...
