I thought Steven was going to post this, but since he hasn't yet, here is the announcement for the new 20-ft and 40-ft HiCube containers!

https://jtcmodeltrains.com/blogs/news/two-new-n-scale-models

And, this link will take you to the announcement of the retro-fit underframes.

I'm not seeing a price?
Looking forward to buying some, especially the 20 footers.

I'm guessing the protos for these are 80s & up.

...

I believe they are mostly 15-20 years later.   I believe the only scheme going back to the 80s would be the Tiphook 20footer.  The APL scheme dates to after the 1997 APL-NOL merger.   The CMA-CGM scheme is about 2007.  Safmarine is 2005ish.  The Beacon schemes are also probably mid-aughts or later.  CAI has been around since the nineties but that Interasia scheme is rare and/or new.  Not sure about the CP ships (but it would be a good stand-in for many non-descript brown containers over the years) or the disaster relief schemes.

Older schemes will be forthcoming in other releases. An Announcement of the next 'batch' will be in May.

These are so out of my era but I might have to get a pair for the benefit of the wife, who noticed them in the proto world.

Agreed but replace wife with daughter. Can’t wait to pick up a pair.

Ocean Network Express not only has a white-on-magenta scheme (as the model mentioned above), but a magenta-on-white scheme. Apparently JTC will be releasing those as well later on!

A prototypical ONE doublestack train in the US at the present time involves a mix of K-Line, NYK/NYK Logistics and MOL containers, (K-Line containers usually making up the majority of containers) with a handful of magenta ONE containers in the train. As the ONE containers get more widespread, their representation on US intermodal trains will grow.

Yes, ONE is a joint venture of NYK, K-Line and MOL's container and terminal businesses, hence the current mix.

I've seem them quite a bit through Salt Lake City. One train seemed to have at least 30% or more of them. I was hoping they would be made, I'll have to pick up a few.

Definitely out of my era, but definitely picking up a pair for the wife. Had thought about a short train of them at some point, but that will depends on funds.
